He is a friendly fellow; yes he is.

Why do you say he is not a friendly fellow; when we all know he is?

Are you saying he has two faces? One face for you and one face for me?

Well, my dear friends; we all know someone who wears two faces. Do we not? Their demeanour can be deceiving. Yes, indeed; this is true, my friends. They may appear to be friendly. Yet are they?

Some would believe we all wear two, or more faces; and, my dear friends, this can certainly be true.

Many wear two or more faces in order to protect themselves. Oh yes they do. They wear two or more faces because this is as it has been for them since time immemorial.

Would we take this self protective measure from them? Would we leave them without their natural form of defence?

I would hope not, Dear Heart.

A face, or two, is not nearly as devastating as a no face. Oh yes, Dear Ones, we all know those with a no face. Do we not?

Yes? No? Some say yes, and some say no. We shall explain:

The ‘no face’ is the individual who wears a mask. Not one or two masks, but, one mask. A mask that is impenetrable. Oh yes, Dear Ones, the ‘no mask’ does not wear expression. This would give him up; as the saying goes.

No, Dear Ones, the ‘no mask’ is usually a solitary individual bent on creating havoc. He will not have an opinion, until you speak your mind. Depending on his day he may agree with you, or not. His intention is to utterly confuse. And confuse he does, Dear Hearts; yes, confuse he does. And why does he wish to confuse?

The answer to this lies in his very nature; a nature that does not wish to mingle. No, Dear Ones, his intention is to remain alone.

Does this surprise? It surprises some, and not others.

To those for whom this comes as a surprise we say:

Not all wish to mingle, Dear Hearts. No; they would rather be alone.

Up we go higher.

You thought that life was good.

 Life’s good.

 It can be better!

(Yeah! You thought that if it didn’t get any better that would be okay. Yeah!

Well, my friend, let me assure you that life can be sooooo good; it would cause you to re-think that attitude.

I’m telling you bro’; life is something that can be even greater; in fact ‘reaching dizzying heights’.

You don’t believe me? Honest. You don’t believe me? Okay, I’ve got some questions for you.

Do you believe that you are living life to the full? Yeah! Do you believe that it’s as good as it gets? Yeah! Well I’ll tell you something. Life ‘can’ get better and better and better and better. Yeah. I didn’t think so, either. Some time back I didn’t think so either. But now, bro’, I ‘know’ it can continue to get better and better and better and better. Yeah. I hope that you too will come to know this truth. You have all you need, within you, to achieve this incredible state of aliveness; assurity; inclusion; mental agility; fun; toughness; sweetness; compassion; humility; the list goes on and on. Not that you don’t already possess much of the above. Yeah bro’, you have some, that’s for sure. But, there’s so much more.

What is that you say? How do you get it? Well bro’ that’s the 64 million dollar question. It’s ‘inside’ you. That’s right. It’s there inside you waiting to be found. Sure it takes effort. Sure it takes work. Sure, nothing’s for free. Well, nothing worthwhile, that is. Take a look, go on. Take a look, inside. What do you see? Do you see you, or do you see me? Yeah sure; riddles are for the birds. But not this riddle; this one’s for you. I’ll give you a hint bro’. When you can truly see you; then you’ll have it.

Yes, it’s true. Life can be better and better and better for those of us who love the little creature Ferret. Give it a go. Allow the energies of the Ferret to have their way. Excitement and adventure await you. These are some of the energies held for those of us who are attracted to him. Enjoy!)

Yes, my friends, for those who enjoy the antics of this active nocturnal creature, we say:

Allow the love you feel for life; yes indeed.

Allow the beauty of that which you feel within to shine; that is right, dear friend.

Allow all the loveliness inside to be seen. For, dear heart, yours is a love so deep, indeed. Yours is a love so wide; all could bathe in the light of your love.

Know that we know. Know that others know; that is right, dear heart.

Know that you are known for that which lies within, and, do allow your light to shine……..

Well, ‘big’ aren’t we! Not for the feint hearted! No.

Did we say big?

Well, once upon a time we were big. But not now, no, not now. Extinct; as they say.

Man does not see us in our true context.

Yes, we roamed the earth.

Yes, we were large.

Yes, we had big appetites. However, only to the extent that was needed.

Just an experience, like all experiences.

Yes; we were spirit enjoying a physical life in the form of a rather large and robust creature known today as a dinosaur.

No different to the family cat, or dog of today, only larger; still with needs of love and care.

No different from you really. Were we?

So many listen to the words; agree, and then continue to beat their heads upon that brick wall of denial.

Yes you do. We can see you hitting your head, over and over again; until, with a little luck (and a lot of lost time) you see the error of your thinking, and decide that to accept is probably the best choice.

Save yourselves some time, Dear Ones. Allow sanity to prevail. That’s right. Sanity is by no means out of your hands.

Yes, with a little sanity, and a little bit of luck, you will be sitting pretty in the enveloping arms of acceptance; indeed.

I have a passion, indeed I do. I have a passion to live life to the full.

Isn’t this a wonderful passion? Yes? No?

What say you?

Is this a good passion to have, or not?

Why do you ask?

Well, I’m unsure. I’m not sure if passion is good, or not. No, I’m unsure if passion is the way to go.

Why?

Well, passion is a fierce energy.

Yes!

Yes, passion is a fierce energy that may, in time, burn out.

Yes!

Yes, passion may be an energy like a meteor burning brightly, then…..  Hmmmmm….. I’m wondering if passion can be lasting. I’m wondering if passion is perhaps an energy one may encounter briefly; like a brilliant ray of sunshine lasting momentarily.

Are you lost, dear heart?

Yes, you could say that.

Shall we assist?

Yes, please do.

Passion, as you’ve stated, is a passing energy filled with ferocity, at times. Yes?

Yes.

Passion can be momentary. Yes?

Yes, that is what I believe to be true.

Indeed, dear heart, passion is a fierce energy that can usurp the energy of calm, of peace. Yes?

Yes. So what are you saying?

We are saying, dear one. Passion, although coveted by many, creates an energy within that binds. Indeed, dear one, it binds you to the object of the passion.

And this is not always a good thing?

Indeed, dear one, this is not a good thing at all.

(And so we have another beginning. New life. New experiences, to be sure.

New life holds the key for those of us who treasure remembering. Without remembering, we would be alone. Would we not?

Without remembering, we would be babes in the woods of life. Indeed, my friends, we would.

However, this is not the case. No, dear hearts; we have those guiding us; those who have gone before.

Yes, dear friends; we have those individuals who have trekked the path before us. They wholeheartedly (and with great pains) not only lead the way, but teach us along the journey, indeed.

And who are those who teach us along the way?

Look around you, dear hearts. Who do you see?

That’s right. You see others paving the way. Do you not?

And this is what happens to our Penguin personality. He/she looks around, and follows the voice of experience.

Do you follow the voice of experience, dear one? Or do you trek alone?)

(Oh yes, indeed we are high spirited.

Oh yes, we fight.

Oh yes, we fight; for not to fight is to lose.

And what do we mean by this?

We mean, dear friends:

If we do not fight for our survival, we die.

Do you think this funny, dear ones?

Do you think life for us is grand?

You may think life for us is grand. Oh yes, my friends, we have the plains to roam, the blue skies above.

Indeed this would seem a wonderful existence to those of you forsaken.

However, for those of you who fight on a daily basis for your bread and butter; you will understand that life for us is not grand.

Oh no, my dear friends; life is a constant battle.

To live, or to die. Only two choices, dear heart.

I’m sleepy! I’m relaxed! I haven’t much to say.

I like to rest for most of the day; allowing life to pass away.

I don’t miss much; for being ‘still’ enhances all.

(Oh yes, my friends, I like to be still. Being still allows all to be seen; all to be known. For, dear hearts, when we are still within and without, are we not ‘open’ to all about?

Are we not more keenly aware of those things ‘within’? Are we not more open to those things ‘without’?

Oh yes, my friends; we are indeed more open to all. And when we say ‘all’, dear hearts; we mean the comings and the goings of our thoughts, indeed.

Do we wish to be more aware of our thoughts, dear hearts? Or would we rather hide from them?

The choice is always ours. However, wouldn’t it be more wise to know our thoughts, then not to know our thoughts?

Some of us do this. We hide from our thoughts; indeed some do this. And why do we hide from our thoughts? We’ll tell you. Some hide from their thoughts, for not to hide can sometimes cause pain. Indeed; some hide from the pain of their thoughts.

Alas, this does not benefit those who hide; indeed not. The pain remains, dear hearts; indeed it does. The pain multiplies; indeed it does. The pain does damage within; indeed it does.

Wouldn’t it be better to feel the pain, dear hearts; to understand the pain; to love the pain; to validate the pain, dear ones? Indeed; this we suggest, dear hearts:

Allow the thoughts; some good, some not so good, to surface, indeed. Allow dear ones, the pain, the torment, the sadness, the grief. Only then, my dear friends, can we be free; indeed. Allow and release.

And to where does the pain, the grief, the sorrow go?

Nowhere, dear ones; it goes nowhere. It dissipates into the cosmos where it can no longer do harm.

We wish you all the best, dear heart, as you release the pain.)
