Well, ‘big’ aren’t we! Not for the feint hearted! No.

Did we say big?

Well, once upon a time we were big. But not now, no, not now. Extinct; as they say.

Man does not see us in our true context.

Yes, we roamed the earth.

Yes, we were large.

Yes, we had big appetites. However, only to the extent that was needed.

Just an experience, like all experiences.

Yes; we were spirit enjoying a physical life in the form of a rather large and robust creature known today as a dinosaur.

No different to the family cat, or dog of today, only larger; still with needs of love and care.

No different from you really. Were we?

  1. It’s we humans who are responsible for their extinct i mean our actions !
Truly , i just want to learn from you how to write so splendous and meaningful in minimum words !

    1. Hi Purva; good to see you… 🙂
There are many theories why dinosaurs became extinct; they existed many millions of years ago.
It may have been due to an ‘ice age’ on Earth, which dinosaurs may not have been able to cope with; an asteroid may have hit the Earth causing climate change; disease may have been responsible. Scientists are still debating this subject, and, from an Earthly point of view, we may never know!
Thank You for your visit; I’m delighted to see you again… 🙂

    1. No, Binky and Granny; no different to you and me; that’s for sure… But, Binky is the prettiest of all… 🙂
Lots of Pawkisses 🐾 🐾 🐾 hugs and kisses xoxoxo for a wonderful weekend for all…
      ❤ ❤ ❤

  2. I am thrilled Carolyn with this post. You make a subtle topic look so easy by your sweet writing and by beautiful voice. I think you are right, all the souls are similar and size of the body s irrelevant. a mosquito and a dog or us or dinosaur must feel same?

    1. Thank You, Bengali Warrior….
This is the Title you have been given by The Collective Consciousness!
It (the Title) was given to me some weeks back, though, I haven’t been inspired to tell you of it until now… You are highly thought of by many… It is a joy to know you, sweet girl… 🙂

  3. ‘Appetites, only to the extent that was needed.’ Seems that maybe we could learn a thing or two from dinosaurs. I can’t fit your writing into a catagory, I love that.

    1. Bem-vindo Ana. Tão feliz em vê-lo.
Sim, de fato; apenas maior, mas com as mesmas necessidades.
Welcome Ana. So happy to see you.
Yes indeed; just bigger, but with the same needs. 🙂
