Camel (Bactrian) Reflection

Camel (Bactrian) Reflection  (Listen while you read)

CamelBactrian
The Bactrian (two humped) Camel

Why would you want it any other way?

It is as it is and that’s that.

No sense trying to make it anything else!

Just ‘accept’.. that’s all.. accept !

_____

Have we made it clear enough, Dear One?

Do you now appreciate what it is we are saying?

So many listen to the words; agree, and then continue to beat their heads upon that brick wall of denial.

Yes you do. We can see you hitting your head, over and over again; until, with a little luck (and a lot of lost time) you see the error of your thinking, and decide that to accept is probably the best choice.

Save yourselves some time, Dear Ones. Allow sanity to prevail. That’s right. Sanity is by no means out of your hands.

Yes, with a little sanity, and a little bit of luck, you will be sitting pretty in the enveloping arms of acceptance; indeed.

  1. LOL! Who is better equipped to accept than a camel? Only an r & an a away from a caramel, camels know they are smooth operators. 🙂 Love this reflection! xoxoxo

    1. Yeah; they’re pretty independent chaps!!!
      Love your ‘s m o o t h’ analogy… ‘Anyone got any caramel?’
Oh, now I’m hungry, and not a caramel in sight…
      Guess I’ll just have to ‘a c c e p t’…

      Ahh, feeling better! ❤

    1. Love your humour… Was it humour? 😉 😉
Hahaaa.. Acceptance can be so hard, at times, to be sure! 😉

Yes, that was my Aussie voice (or, as we say; Aussie drawl). 🙂

      1. Land of Oz drawl as in G’Day? 🙂 A nice voice and a pleasant accent.
And yes it was humour. (Glad you guys still write english with all the proper U’s.
G’day to you in Down Under. Already Tuesday Morning. I still find this instant communication magical. Think how long it took for a letter to go from England to Australia and back in the 19th century… 🙂

        1. For me it’s a matter of remaining calm. There are so many injustices, I agree. However, I believe we can better cope/handle man’s brutal (at times) behaviour, and secure better outcomes if we don’t allow ourselves to become overwhelmed by them. More easily said than done; yes.

          1. True. I used to be much calmer. Still am, in crisis situations. But I have reflected lately that I need to go back to my calmer self. Thanks, merci for the reminder. 🙂

    1. So sorry, Voulaah; I have just rescued your comment from the spam folder… 😦

Thank You so much for your happy wish! ❤
I wish for you a wonderful week filled with happy smiles and love.. 🙂

  2. hmmmm… a very calming monologue that should have gone to the voters in the primary elections in the United States earlier this year. Instead, all of them seem to be caught up in insanity. We should have just brought out your camel here, and let him spit a spray of sanity saliva on them. 🙂

    1. Far be it from me to enter the world of politics, Marsha! We, in Australia, are battling our own political foibles at the moment. (Protest votes everywhere!)
And yes, I agree; a spray of camel sanity is just the thing to set everything in balance… 😉 😉

  3. Camels are beautiful creatures. they do accept what they got, the hump, the desert life, scant food, and they accept it all gracefully. Thanks for the thought, no complain, be happy.

  4. It is as it is and that’s that.

So simple, yet too often, it is difficult to see/accept this truth, and truth it is, indeed.

  5. “So many listen to the words; agree, and then continue to beat their heads upon that brick wall of denial”
    This is so very True.
    wonderful 🙂

    1. Hahaaaa, yes, Shailja, this is true, indeed.
One would think we’d learn after hitting our proverbial heads often; and yet, we battle our human nature constantly. Thankfully, the wall does become ‘known’ to us, in time; whereby we can circumnavigate that wall, and see the other side clearly. Then, once in a while, there we are again, looking at yet another brick wall…
      Hahaaaa…
Welcome, and do come again! 🙂

    1. Hahaaa, yes, Vick; sometimes some things are really simple, and yet, with our natural inclination to complicate, makes the simple seem complicated. When it’s really very simple..!
      Need I say more?!?!/!?!
      Hahaaa, sorry to confuse.. ❤
