Crab Reflection

A horse is a horse of course of course
And no one can talk to a horse of course.
That is of course unless the horse
Is the famous Mister Ed.

Anyone remember that jingle? Of course of course!

However, Dear Hearts, this jingle is not for the famous Mister Ed. No sir’ee; today we sing this jingle for the famous Mister Crab; of course.

Yes indeed, Dear Ones, today we are reminded of the famous Mister Ed via the reflection for Mister Crab.

Our Dearest remembers well the jingle above mentioned. Indeed, our dearest sat watching Mister Ed on the television when just a youngster, indeed. And this day we inspired our dearest to purchase a decorative crab to join the multitude of animals that surround her. We say ‘surround her’, Dear Hearts, in the sense of ornaments; yes indeed.

Another to add to the collection, dearest. Our dearest wonders when and if this collection will end. There seems to be no end to her love of beasties; and no end to the endless variety of ornaments to collect.

For this is what our dearest is doing, Dear Ones. Our dearest is ‘collecting’. And this is true of our dearest’s current state of affairs. She is collecting. And what is she collecting? She is collecting memories and articles of worth. And what are memories and articles of worth? Why, anything that brings love and warmth to the heart are memories and articles of worth, Dear Hearts.

And what, pray tell, has this to do with the Crab Reflection? We shall tell you.

The Crab Reflection is a parallel of the Horse Reflection. And what is the parallel between the Horse and the Crab Reflection?

The parallel, Dear Ones, is memory. Memory of times gone by that brought goodwill, love and cheer to the hearts of men.

A timely reminder to remember memories and articles that bring cheer.
