May we remind you, Dear Friend, that Carolyn will be seventy years of age this coming February.
It is with great glee that we offer this little inspiration video. You too will, should you follow Carolyn’s example, feel and be as our dearest – happily fulfilling your life’s work.
You think not, Dear Hearts?
May we be the first to congratulate you as you take yet another step on the journey to backwards aging.

very good…a spoonbill?
Yes Michael, it’s a Royal Spoonbill; one of the many that frequent our little (man made) lagoon each year.
We are some 30 minutes from the coast so it’s lovely to have a reserve close by that attracts so many wild birds. However, we are currently suffering widespread drought here in Oz; little to no rain with dry and parched land. As a result there have been very few bird species gracing the lagoon; more the pity!
Great to see you…
sorry to hear that, the pond is so important.
You look and sound great!
Happy Holidays, and I’ll be back. xo
Hahah… HELLO to you too!!!
Looking forward to your return… 🙂
All the very best of this magical season. Here is to a great new year!
And to you too, Rebecca; a ‘great’ new year!
Lovely to be connecting again… Magical indeed..
You were missed!!!
Great! Good to see you back, Carolyn. I see that your birthday is coming up soon after mine… 😊
It’s good to be back connecting with my favourite people, Jo. Lovely to see you! &
Your birthday must be quite soon, Jo… Is it in Jan or Feb?
We’ll have to celebrate! 🙂
Jan 18 😊😊😊
Happy Birthday to you, Carolyn. Now, as I toast you with a glass of red wine on this special day, I wish the rest of your life will be the best of your life. Have a lovely time, most honoured lady. Jo
So lovely of you, Jo, to remember my birthday. Thank You so much; you are a true gentleman and I adore you.
Charlee: “Happy New Year! We are back!”
Chaplin: “And we are sending lots of purrs that you have a great year!”
Lulu: “And tail wags, too!”
Charlee: “And Dada said to tell you that speaking of dancing he is finally going to be getting back to their studio next week. He seems to really be looking forward to that!”
And a Happy New Year to you, Charlee, Chaplin, Lulu and Dada!
What could be a happier new year then to be contemplating dancing around the dancefloor?
I’m going a little ‘green’!!! 🙂
Happy Australia Day.
Thank You, Jo; we are having a wonderful day recuperating from yesterday’s social dance; enjoying great food, and chatting with friends.
It is still a little ‘smoky’ from the fires here at home. At least we’ve now had a little rain, which has eased the fire danger somewhat.
Although our dear Australia has been suffering greatly these past months, our spirit is strong. Hence, life marches on with hope and inspiration..
Hoping all is well for you, too!
Yes, thank you, Carolyn. By the way, somebody’s birthday is coming up in Feb. If I may ask – when?
Jo, Feb 20 is the day! 🥰
It is so hard to imagine I’ll be 70, Jo. It really is just a number, isn’t it!
Carolyn, One can’t help it that the number 70 is approaching. But as for you, those past years sits so lightly they are barely visible – and with all those active tasks you do, there has to be a spring in your step. The late years of our lives is also a developmental stage of our ongoing lives. With self-sufficiency, an alert mind and widespread interests in the world around, one can face those years with courage – enjoy to the full. I would say no one grows old by living – only by losing interest in living. Have a wonderful time.

Sorry to hear about the knee problem of your hubby, Carolyn, but hope that after enough rest he’ll be fine again, so that you can dance through the year of 2020. Wishing you and your hubby a Happy and Healthy New Year (belated…but hey…there’s no time in the cosmos..so I think it still counts😸…) and here’s an Extra Pawkiss to achieve all that🐾😽💞
Thank You so much, Binky and Granny!
K’s knee is very troublesome for him, and frustrating him as well. There’s nothing he’d like more than to get back to dancing as we were before Christmas. But, alas, it is what it is. He does say it is improving, however, it is one day at a time for now. We still have so much to be grateful for. 😎
The rains have come. A welcome relief for the firies who are still working very hard with lots of fires throughout our beautiful country. The grass is turning green again, here at home, and the plants are looking alive, perky and welcoming.
Sending lots of pawkisses, hugs and kisses 😻
