Episode 42 – Seventy Three and Stronger Than Ever

Our dearest recently had a birthday, Dear Ones. Indeed she did.

Now at the age of seventy three her ‘new life’ has begun. This statement surprises our dearest who diligently types the words we speak.

Yes indeed, dearest, the use of the words ‘new life’ is appropriate. We shall explain:

Our dearest, as our regular readers and listeners know, is an avid ballroom dancer of the modern discipline as well as the Australian New Vogue discipline.

Recently she and her life partner, Keith, had their second New Vogue lesson with the ‘guru’ of New Vogue, as he is tenderly named by those who have had the pleasure of his teachings. Soon they will experience a younger teacher of the modern or ‘standard’ discipline. She, our dearest, is ‘over the moon’, as the saying goes; delighted to be in the company of those of like mind once again.

And this is the ‘new life’ to which we refer;  and also the point of our writing.

It is of utmost importance that we place ourselves in good company; preferably with those of like mind. This, naturally, is not always possible. However, today, with the advancements in technology there are ample opportunities for comradery with like minds.

And this, Dear Ones, our dearest and our Dear Heart Keith are and will continue to relish – joy, delight and continued learning with those of like mind.
