Some time past The Collective Consciousness (The C.C.) advised that we, Veronica and I, would post updates of our adventures whilst enjoying backwards ageing. For V this meant doing one of her favourite pastimes – skating! This she, and husband Michael, enjoy to their little heart’s content. In Veronica’s words:
“Last Saturday night Maitland Council and NSW Transport put on an event that had a pop up skate rink, light display and food venders.
The event was a great success with many skaters and non-skaters getting on the rink.
The roller skating crew I am apart of was asked to demonstrate before three of the sessions.
The first performance was Cha Cha Slide, second was skating to Time Warp and lastly dancing to Clap Snap. There were lots of unique styles and choreography. But So much Fun was had by all.”
“Throughout the 4 hour event I participated in many of the skating sessions helping out where needed, dancing, skating and thoroughly enjoying myself.
There was a professional photographer there who captured this photo of me.”
