Did I say I wanted to Pole Dance?

Well, I can’t remember saying it, but, I do and I am… 😂

This afternoon saw me spinning and twirling around a pole; hence, pole dancing.

My goodness me, I had fun.

I’ve arrived home feeling excited and looking forward to the next lesson.

    1. Haha… Barbara, a girl has to do something ‘physical’ that includes dance moves and music when her partner is recovering from knee surgery.

Hahah… Then again – I loved it so much I’ve advised K that he may find me awol several times each week! 😂😂

    1. I did have a marvelous time, Dorothy; it was such fun! So much so that I’m booked for the three remaining introduction classes that take you through the basics. Then it’s off into the beginner classes. Hahah… Who’d have thought this was coming? Not me; that’s for sure! 😎

        1. Hahah… Dorothy, as the saying goes: Nature abhors a vacuum.
I never, in my wildest dreams, ever considered learning pole dancing. However, with Keith and his injured wing still recovering I found myself hunting. And, voilà, something came along to fill the void… 😀

    1. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You…
      Fun it is!
Reminds me of one of your recent posts. Something about our age not preventing us from living wholeheartedly.
      Here’s to life!!! 🤗

  1. That’s fantastic, Carolyn! When I was in my late teens I loved the idea of trying pole dancing as it seemed a great way to strengthen your body and build your confidence. I don’t know that I’d be anywhere near fit enough to do it now, I’d probably wrap myself around the pole and just stand there like that for the whole hour but I think it’s a fantastic thing to have a go at. I hope the next lesson is just as much fun!!! xx

    1. Hey Caz, great to see you!
At the moment I’m nursing a lot of sore muscles; muscles I don’t believe I’ve used before.. hahah
I agree with you – pole dancing is a sure fire way to strengthen the body, and, as I mentioned to Anjali (above) I don’t believe I’ve ever felt so feminine before. There is a fine line, in would seem, between trying to look ‘sexy’ and being at one with one’s essence of woman in a graceful yet strong way.
After only one lesson I know I’m going to gain heaps from this new adventure.
      Sending lots of Love ❤️

    1. So doesn’t it make you wonder why I highlighted the beaudiful cat showing its spectacular pole figure?
      That’s right,,,
‘Cause I know that cats are the bestest pole dancers ever…..
