Once again, Dear Hearts, we have surprised our dearest with another proclamation. Yes indeed we have.
Our dearest suffered for two days over thinking what this would entail. Today, Dear Ones, we spoke with our dearest and our Dear Heart, Veronica, giving them both more details as to why they would both be venturing further into the joys of greater physical activity. This alleviated our Dear Ones’ thought processes; bringing them both to a more objective viewpoint, so to speak.
However, we venture into the realm of putting the cart before the horse. To correct this we shall begin at the beginning:
Both our dearest Carolyn and our Dear Heart, Veronica, enjoy physical activity. Our dearest delights being on the dance floor with our Dear One, Keith; and our Dear Heart Veronica has been, for some months, venturing back to a childhood delight, namely; roller skating. This she enjoys along with her husband, Michael.
Our Dear Heart, Veronica, is undergoing training with the possibility of joining the roller derby enthusiast’s league.
The surprise we have given our dearest Carolyn is the knowledge that she and her life partner, Keith, will once again be dancing in a competitive nature in the near future. This surprise caught our dearest off guard and sent her thoughts into complete disarray, as we have said. However, Dear Ones, our dearest has now composed herself and is looking forward to the lessons and practise sessions that will be needed to bring her and Keith up to speed, so to speak; to attain the quality of dance required for the competition floor.
Won’t you join with us in congratulating our Dearest; Keith; Veronica and Michael as they showcase the backwards aging that has brought them thus far? We shall be asking our Dear Ones to share their journeys with you by means of videos and images. This they shall do with great enthusiasm.

There is no doubt that exercise and physical activities are good, especially when you also enjoy doing. Enjoy.
Yes indeed, Shakil, and we do enjoy dancing so very much.
In fact, we have been thinking of late that our social dances, although so enjoyable, haven’t been able to satisfy our ‘need for speed’ around the dance floor. Hence, competition will certainly cater for that.

I’m excited but I’m also realistic. It’s going to take a lot of practise to get our skills up to competition scratch. But, I must say; I’m really looking forward to it.

Well Resa, it’s more like a go-slow at the moment. Keith is away up north with his mum this weekend, and our lessons don’t start until next Thursday…. so much to do… so little time! I feel like the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland…
