Papillon (Butterfly/Continental Toy Spaniel) Reflection  (Listen while you read)

The beautiful Papillon or Butterfly dog is one which, very soon, will grace the home of our dearest Carolyn. We informed her of this, this day. Did we not, dearest?

Yes you did. Just as I learned about our last dog, Beau, whilst surfing the net; the same has happened this day.

Beau, our beautiful rescue dog adopted May 2013

I’m not sure I’m ready to accept a third dog into our home just yet; but, I know this will happen at some point soon!

Indeed, dearest. Shall we now proceed with the reflection?

Yes, please do.

The beautiful Papillon dog is one that will fill the home with love, laughter, tears and joy. Oh yes, Dear Ones, the Papillon is not only sweet in temperament; but also hardy and long lived. We say ‘long lived’, Dear Ones, in the sense that it retains its personality to its end. And what is its personality? We shall tell you.

The Papillon is a social creature in need of social gatherings. It will beam with love when taken for a walk. It will revel in the company of other sensitive animals; not only dogs, Dear Hearts. Oh yes, the Papillon, apart from its small but robust frame, will enjoy all company.

Do not fear when small children play with this dearest of animals; it will rejoice in the contact and be, ultimately, the one to retire when, and if, the play is not cordial. Yes, Dear Ones, should a child become overly overt in its communications, both physical and mental, the delightful Papillon will sensitively manoeuvre out of harm’s way, so to speak.

You will delight, dearest, when the Papillon, intended for you, finds its way into your home and heart.

Many Blessings to you, dearest.

    1. Thank You, Marly 🙂
I’m getting used to the idea already. In fact, I’ve been looking on-line and have sent an email to a breeder who has an older female to re-house, plus some female puppies. I’m getting a little excited… Hahaaaa….. 🙂

    1. It is, Maverick; so cute! 🙂
I’m off tomorrow to visit with a breeder who has 2 adult females for which she wants to find forever homes. I’ve seen images of one of them; she is black and white; a real cutie, but, I’m not sure that she is for me. The other is a silver Papillon. She (the breeder) hopefully, will be sending me some images later today. Maybe she is the one!? But, as The C.C. said; the one intended for me will find me.
      I’ll just have to be patient… Something I don’t always find easy….. 🙂

  1. Oh, Jo; more’s the pity… yes, animals certainly bring a lot of joy with them!
I’m so looking forward to bringing him/her home; yet only yesterday morn I had my doubts.
A good sleep and now I’m feeling like a new mum about to embark on rearing another little soul. So sweet…
    Sending you Love, Jo… 🙂

  2. Thank You, Chelsea. 🙂
Yes, Beau is adorable. He was rescued along with his siblings, some of which died from the Canine Parvovirus. Before we adopted him he’d spent one month in a veterinary hospital and, thankfully, survived. He is the sweetest temperament. We love him dearly.
All the best with your new blog. I’ll keep a watch! 🙂

  3. Okay, I have been cuted into a sweeter humour! 😀
This is a reflection that must leave all feeling better than before they read it, or listened to it.
This is a perfect little soul type. I know one personally. Her name is FeeFee, and her human mom ties bows in her hair, always as cute as a button. Mom recently had a baby, and FeeFee couldn’t be more gentle, everything you channeled. Resa xoxoxo
    PS
Your guest post is going up in a couple of days. It will be my next post on GLaM.

    1. Oh Resa; they are gorgeous. I’m so looking forward to welcoming the ‘one intended for me’ into our home; I know it will be a wonderful addition to the ‘already’ sweet energies!
And you know of a ‘little one’ FeeFee… such a cute name! Yes, I’m getting clucky and can see myself, like Paris Hilton, carrying this little bundle of joy in a bag over my shoulder… I almost shudder at the thought; yet keep seeing this vision in my mind… Oh, Lordy! I really am changing!
We went to a breeder who had two female (adults) yesterday; but, alas, neither were for me. I’ll just have to be patient; my little one will come in its own good time… 🙂

    1. Hahaaaa.. Eirini; it is indeed!
I’m like an expectant mum. We have the nursery (crate/bedding) ready. I have a couple of ‘jackets’ bought for ‘Beau’ but, too small for him! I have a few ‘names’; but, I know, as with little humans, the names thought of previous to actually seeing the little individual may not suit.. hahaaa 🙂
And, the arrival date is unknown. I’m hoping it doesn’t take long…. 😉 😉
