One important point we can add to the scientific information flowing currently, Dearest, is:
Addressing those things that we inadvertently or knowingly put into our bodies that are scientifically known toxins. Those added toxins that marketers use to enhance their products.
Yes, Dear Ones; marketers of foodstuffs are proficient at advertising. Are they not?
Are you going to be subject to their lies? Are you going to suffer due to their abhorrent advertising?
It is time to address this within your life.
Our dearest has an aversion to much of the advertising that can be seen on screens; television, computers, social media, etc.
This aversion is due to a life of being affected by those products reputed as being optimal for health when, in truth, they are the product of a profit born initiative.
It is now, in her seventies that our dearest wishes to not only negate the myths associated with the so-called spiritual sphere of life, her desire is to assist in the negation of untruths as they are perpetuated in the food industry.
We salute our dearest’s desire, and will assist as we can.
Our dearest asks if there is one food that all can consume with health as its goal.
There is more than one, dearest. However, to address your question: Food in its raw form is optimal. This may be difficult for those with inflamed tummies. We advise to proceed slowly. However, raw food has its advantages due to its nutritional values being, more or less, intact. The ‘source’ is ultimately responsible for its nutritional value. Obviously, plants grown in densely nutritional soil will harvest best. Our dearest adds – Free of pesticides and herbicides. These are added toxins.
Yes indeed, dearest.

Dear CCC, I’m finding your posts so helpful and interesting. 🙏I’ve had many lapses into eating sugar due to grief and life’s challenges—even though I don’t actually enjoy the taste or the aftertaste. I’m really looking forward to starting Dr. Bryan’s NO formulas that you mentioned in your last post.
I’ve never enjoyed advertising or business promotion, as the fakeness tends to shine through and it becomes hard to know what to believe. I remember your post about drinking water—that one really resonated with me. I was drinking so much water that it started giving me migraines, and the same thing happens with chocolate withdrawal.
I truly dislike the ups and downs that the brain seems to crave (pardon the pun LOL). But as Dory says, “Just keep swimming.”
Thank you for your research and the time you take to share these options.
Brightest Blessings
Catherine🌺
Yes indeed, Dear One; we hear your voice, and wish to advise that Rome was not built in a day – as the saying goes.
Our dearest has been working upon reducing the toxins within her diet for many a year. And, as she admits, the work is not yet done; there being work left to do. However, Dear One, we rejoice with our dearest as she forges ahead with optimal health as her goal. And this, Dear One, is all that we can do. Is it not?
There are many pitfalls for the unwary. To consider any food within a package, so to speak, is to be concerned for its ingredients. Any food product within a package, has preservatives and emulsifiers to prolong its shelf-life. However, Dear One, they do not preserve nor prolong your life. Indeed, they act as deterrents of a healthful life.
Many Blessings

Hi Catherine,
As I wrote in a response on the previous post – Last night I made the most delicious Thai Curry; it was so scrumptious. And yet, within the tablespoon of Thai Curry Paste I used was 3.5g of sugar. Not a lot, granted, between four servings. But, adding up all the ‘little’ sugars found here and there in bought foodstuffs multiplies ad nauseum. I do allow myself the occasional bought food in which can be found small amounts of sugar. But, in the main, I try my best to avoid them.
As I said in that reply – If anyone can help me to make a Thai-like curry paste without using sugar or sugar substitutes, I would be so grateful.
I have found, doing my best to ensure high quality nutritional minerals and vitamins naturally found within the food I eat has been the key to minimising and vanishing the cravings that used to plague me. Lack of high quality minerals and vitamins causes us to have those cravings. It is the body’s way of telling us we are mineral/vitamin deficient. We then reach for the nearest ‘fix’, which is generally to our detriment.
Yes, thank you it will take patience, effort, and a mindfulness to reach the goal of optimal health. I took a moment to look through all the packaged foods I eat or drink — the rice milk, pickled cucumbers, savoury pastries — all low in sugar, yet each containing just a trace. Even the spirulina has 0.01g! It is a reminder that these tiny amounts, though they seem small, add up. I even noticed that some vitamin supplements carry sugar within them too.
I happened upon a sugar-free Thai recipe — I simply typed “sugar-free Thai recipe” below into ChatGPT. If you’ve ever used it, I find it helpful for many a search. I haven’t yet tried the recipe, though it sounds yummo!
🌶 Sugar-Free Thai Curry Paste Ingredients (20 min)
(Makes about 1 cup — enough for 3–4 curries)
1 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp black peppercorns
1–2 dried red chilies (or to taste)
2 stalks lemongrass, tender inner parts only, finely sliced
1 small onion or 2 shallots, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 thumb-sized piece of galangal (or ginger), chopped
1 thumb-sized piece of fresh turmeric (or 1 tsp ground turmeric)
1 tbsp lime zest or 2 kaffir lime leaves, finely shredded
1 small bunch fresh cilantro (roots if available, or stems)
1 tsp shrimp paste (optional — omit for vegan)
1–2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1–2 tbsp cold water or coconut milk (to blend smoothly)
Enjoy ! 🌺
Fabulous recipe! Thanks so much.

We shall enjoy watching our dearest as she cooks, Dear Heart. Curries and recipes including a variety of ingredients, such as this, have become almost a daily evening meal. You may want to invest in ‘variety’, Dear Heart, as has our dearest. Remembering that taking things slowly and consistently win the battle.
Many Blessings
Your welcome. Sounds yummo !
Will do ! Slow & steady wins the race.

Lulu: “If you would like to assist me by tossing me some of the crunchy vegetables from that picture, I would be most grateful!”
They do look super crisp and crunchy. Speaking of which; baking in my oven are chickpeas. They will soon be crisp and crunchy too. Then I’ll toss them in some paprika and cumin to make them taste even better. Oops, I’m drooling, I’d better go!
Lulu, if anyone can do as Dada suggests, it would be Super Dog Lulu!…
