David Sinclair and the Future of Backwards Ageing

We are about to enter a new beginning, dearest; indeed we are. We have, over the years, spoken of backwards ageing. Yes?

Yes, this is true.

And what, in a nutshell, dearest, have we typically said.

We have spoken about how our work toward freeing ourselves of fear instigates backwards ageing. There is also the need to eat a healthy diet, as much as is possible, exercise to suit our body’s health condition; and also to enjoy the company of others in a social sense, for our need of mental stimulation and emotional stability.

And are you engaging in those activities?

Yes, I am.

And, dearest, are you enjoying backwards ageing?

Yes, I am enjoying backwards ageing.

And why is this, dearest.

Backwards ageing allows me to do so much more than I would otherwise be capable.

Such as, dearest?

Keith and I are currently enjoying dancing once or twice weekly with our social dancing friends. It’s lovely to be able to do this. I know, because of backwards ageing we are still able to move with great energy on the dance floor. I say this, in particular, because when I turned sixty my body began to experience some aches and pains. I found lying in bed difficult, at times; it wasn’t always easy to find a comfortable position. Now, at seventy six (ten years after consciously beginning the backwards ageing process) this is not an issue, and hasn’t been an issue for some years.

Recently, some months back, I took up strength training; something I always wanted to do, but, didn’t have the commitment or desire to continue. Today I thoroughly enjoy the greater strength I have and know that backwards ageing is responsible for this. I currently lift weights twice weekly, and move my body in various ways during the other days of the week, movement such as – dance, walking, yoga and stretching. I know these activities would, without backwards ageing be impossible to do at the level of intensity I perform them.

You are saying, dearest, that backwards ageing is responsible for your greater enjoyment of life?

Yes, absolutely I am.

We are in agreement… You wanted to talk about the Harvard University Professor, David Sinclair?

Yes, I did. However, I believe I’ll leave that conversation for another post – this post is quite long enough…

Shall we mention that Dr David Sinclair’s work represents backwards ageing, longer healthy life and lifestyle, dearest; to keep our readers ‘in the loop’?

Yes, this would be a good idea. I’ve been following his work since you first inspired me to do so. His scientific research is bearing out your premise of backwards ageing; as is the work of a number of researchers. It is absolutely fascinating to me.

We have, upon our website, your advice that twenty seven would be the age that we humans would ultimately remain physically – ‘biologically‘ – as we continue to live throughout the remaining physical years of living. He, David Sinclair, plus others, are now talking about this as becoming scientific truth for humans in the future.

Though they haven’t specified twenty seven as being the age cut off point, scientific predictions are, however, that we will reach an age where physical ageing will cease. The current predictions are more in line with the early thirties as being the age when this will happen. Utterly fascinating, and worthy of my time and energy needed to keep abreast of this scientific research.

Indeed so, dearest. Many Blessings to All

  1. Did you say 76? Are you sure? Nooo… that’s amazing!💃 I’m really striving for backward aging. Internally, I can feel 27, although the mirror doesn’t always agree! My dream is to be able to show jump again. I still ride occasionally, but at 63, I can’t quite swing myself onto a horse the way I used to.😅 It’s exciting to think that some of these aging and longevity concepts may eventually be scientifically proven. The Professor’s research is fascinating & he explains complex ideas in such an easy to understand way. I have so many questions and can’t wait to learn more. 😊🐎

    1. Haha… Yes, I’m sure! I no longer feel surprised; in fact, I now expect to be able to do those things I do because they are ‘doable’. Does that sound egotistical? In general, I don’t tell people my age, they don’t believe me, or they change toward me. The C.C. have warned in regard this happening – envy and jealousy can be terrible emotions! I’ve learned to keep my own counsel, so to speak.

Yes, he does explain complex conditions in understandable language, thank goodness. His research has come leaps and bounds over the years. I’m so pleased you find it fascinating.

He currently has FDA approval to trial a technology that will cure blindness – this he has already achieved in mice. This same technology, he currently believes, will cure all illness, eventually. The C.C. have advised, for some years now that all illness will be overcome, in time. David Sinclair’s work is at the forefront of amazing changes.
      Ever onward, ever upward… 🤗

  2. It must be wonderful to feel that way again. Perhaps one day it won’t be a point of envy at all, because everyone will be looking and feeling 27!

There are certainly many exciting breakthroughs happening in medicine. Not so long ago, a cancer diagnosis was often considered a death sentence, whereas today many forms of cancer can be successfully treated, and survival rates continue to improve.

It will be fascinating to watch these researchers developments unfold over the coming years.

    Ever onward, ever upward indeed!🪷🕊

    1. Yes, indeed. I’m watching for the results of the latest trial, regarding curing blindness. As with all scientific trials I have learned not to hold my breath. Patience is required…

As for ‘looking’ 27. This will only happen for those who will not have aged past this point when the technologies curing disease are available. However, for those of us who have attained the age we have, we will, as The C.C. have stated – be much more ‘youthful’ than those who have not backwards aged.

I’m advised by some I trust that I don’t look my age. However, I don’t expect to look 27 physically. I do, though, have a youthfulness on my side that allows me to do so much more than would otherwise be possible. No complaints from me! 👍😉

  3. Good trials take time, and that’s actually a good thing because it means we can have confidence in the outcomes. It will be wonderful to see so many people cured of diseases that have affected them for so long. Many of the clients I see would love that opportunity, though I also know there was an agreement and purpose in their lives.

You already have such a youthful way about you, and without any ego attached to it. I think that’s one of the loveliest qualities to carry. Greater vitality, youthfulness, health, and freedom is something truly worth looking forward to. 😊💛

  4. Wow !! Honestly, you look the same as when I first met you many many moons ago. Thank you for sharing.💝🌷

    1. Thought you might like this:

Life Biosciences, a biotech company co-founded by Harvard geneticist Dr. David Sinclair, received FDA clearance for the first human trial of cellular “age reversal”. The Phase 1 clinical trial is testing a gene therapy (codenamed ER-100) that utilizes partial epigenetic reprogramming to rejuvenate dying cells and restore vision.

The first human patients began receiving the experimental therapy in June 2026.”

      1. One of the most closely watched trials—it’s fascinating. Choosing the eye as the first target makes a lot of sense since it’s one of the most accessible organs to monitor and it could potentially pave the way for similar treatments in other organs. Wow!

Five years isn’t all that long & I can only imagine the excitement Dr. David Sinclair and his team must be feeling as they take this first step.

    1. Lulu, it must be Autumn/Fall where they’re dancing. I bet, though, that Dada would make a fine figure amongst those dancers. And, I’m absolutely certain that you, and the guys, would too. In fact, I’d love to see all of you in that pic. I’ll see what I can do! 🐾🐶🎶🐾🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐕🤭🐈‍⬛🤗
