“That’s amazing,” is what she said, Dear Ones.
Yes indeed, our dearest is constantly amazed by the backwards ageing taking place within her body and her mind.
Only yesterday saw her eagerly shopping for ‘gym pants’. Did she find some? Yes indeed, she did – two!
Oh… Our dearest, and our Dear Heart Veronica have a date. Tomorrow they begin a ‘free trial’ at a local gym. And what, pray tell, are they interested in doing?
Both our dearest and our Dear Heart want to remain strong.
Our dearest Carolyn has, for much of her adult life, wanted to use the ‘machines’ available. Whilst our Dear Heart Veronica is eager to investigate life as a gym enthusiast.
Both have slightly differing reasons. However, joyful comradery, remaining fit and healthy, with the added bonus of activity, is uppermost for the two.
We wish them both well. Don’t you?

I’ve been watching a number of videos on the subject. It is highly recommended not to use added weight, or very little if any until the technique is well understood. Injuring myself is the last thing I want….

I am currently enjoying the endorphins, Dorothy! I feel like a child in a toy store.. Hahah…
Vronny and I had such a good time this morning at the gym. I was so pleasantly surprised by the ‘very modern machines’ with great instructions. The personal trainers were ‘here and there’, being available if needed. One of them watched us (from afar), which made me feel very secure!
We ended our workout with a cool down we have both been watching from the same source. Needless to say, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Two girls on a fabulous outing that we’ll repeat, with great pleasure.
What a wonderful time! It’s so good to get to have fun in a new playground! 🛝
