As I was vacuuming yesterday, and again today as I was mopping the floors I couldn’t help but remember how tiresome those two chores were some years past.
Today, at seventy, I should be surprised by the relative ease with which I perform these, and other household tasks. But, I’m not. These days I would be surprised if I found them hard, as once I did.
My mop is one that can swivel to fit those nasty little curves and corners that we all find in and around furniture, etc. Before placing it back into the bucket to swirl it in its adorable little centrifugal type water remover, I bend down to physically push it back into the vertical position. What a chore this act would have been. Not now! And this I thought upon as I, for the umpteenth time, bent down.
A simple act and yet one of many that a decade past was showing me how aging had affected my everyday actions.
Backwards aging today has been such a boon. Not only do I feel absolutely wonderful in my skin; my skin looks absolutely wonderful too! Oh, now I’m just boasting. And yet, why not? I’ve earned it.
Leaving with a smile
Many Blessings

Hahaha, Thank you so much. Love and hugs from Kyaraa and Anjali. 🤗❤️.
Thank you for boasting! You so much deserve it.
This is so exciting and my words do not do justice to how excited I am for you and for all of us who can also partake in backwards aging.
Proud of you!

Ren, I hear you loud and clear.
And this is exactly as I feel. I am so excited for those of us who are to take this to heart and run with it. Yes, it takes work, but, anything worthwhile takes work. And this work brings so many rewards,

I hear ya also. And “take to heart” is a key element here, I’d say.

I actually have a similar mop and I love playing with the little centrifuge! This was obviously designed by some genius who looked for fun in everything!
It is quite strange to be ‘enjoying’ a mop, Dorothy. And yet, it sure beats the mops of old. It even looks good… hahah

It is fun, as you well know!
Charlee: “We routinely run and hide from the vacuum, but what is this activity, ‘mopping’?”
Chaplin: “I’m not sure. Lulu, do you know?”
Lulu: “Nope.”
Charlee: “Sounds to me like Mama and Dada might be slackers a little when it comes to floor maintenance, then …”
Oh, I don’t believe that you guys! You’re just pulling my leg! You do know that saying. Don’t you?
You know – Pull the other one – it’s got bells on!
I see the videos. Yeah. And my other leg is ringing and ringing and ringing! 😉 😉

This is so true that you’ve earned it through the work that you’ve done on yourself. You’re such a wonderful example for all of us! I admire your energy and your joyful spirit very much!
Have a beautiful week, my dear Carolyn!
Hugs!
