Natural Stimulants

Recently, you ‘The C.C.’ mentioned that drinking tea on a daily basis would create an unnatural stimulant condition. Can you advise what a ‘natural’ stimulant would look like?

Indeed, dearest; a natural stimulant would be one not dependent upon a foreign body, so to speak, being introduced into the body. That is, dearest; a condition brought about firstly by thought, and then action. You, dearest, understand what it is we are saying. Yes?

Yes, I believe I do. One stimulus I find very invigorating is dancing, particularly dancing with my beloved Keith.

We know this is true for you, dearest. And why do you find this so?

Firstly, I am with someone I find to be a wonderful companion. He also loves me, and loves being with me. Then there are the endorphins that are released during the physical activity of dance, that uplift and energise. There are magical moments such as the music playing, the friends present, the social interaction we share, and the atmosphere of like minds coming together; all combining to make ‘dance’ a joyful experience for me.

And this you find a ‘natural’ stimulation, dearest?

Yes, I do. I am beginning to appreciate your premise. Anything that interests, that causes the mind and body to feel activated in the positive realm, without taking any substance known to enhance stimulation is considered a natural stimulant.

Indeed, dearest – when instigated within the mind and affected by/within the body free from a foreign body, so to speak, would be considered a natural stimulant. You can think of many possibilities, dearest.

Yes, I can. Writing, painting, creating music, exercising; being engaged in any activity on one’s own or in company that brings joy and good feelings, is to be considered a natural stimulant.

Yes indeed, dearest.

Many Blessings

    1. Oh, now that’s sad. But, you are not dependent upon your man. I hope you ‘trip the light fantastic’ on your own, to the music of your choice. Talking of which -Music is such an aphrodisiac, well, it is for me.
😂 Our feet were made for dancing! 💃

    1. And you, Denise. I’ve discovered many great ideas on your blog too.
As for being healthy – optimal health is my current goal. I’ll do whatever it takes. And, in the doing, I’m finding it becomes just as natural to do those things that reward health as doing those things, of old, that didn’t. It requires a ‘mind shift’, is all…
Here’s to our health in all we do! 💪

    1. You are most welcome Java Bean. In fact, your four legged energy is just what we need to get the dancing endorphins spinning!
      Ooooh, I feel distinctly energised… 🐕
