Every Day is a New Beginning

We have heard this truism many times over. However, how many times have we truly ‘heard’ it?

We suggest taking this truism to heart. By that we mean: Begin each day as freshly mown grass taking flight in growth and strength.

We know of the travails that you suffer. We know, and so do you. What we say is:

Allow the smell of freshly mown grass to fill your nostrils. No, Dear Hearts, we do not mean this literally; no indeed. What we do mean is to fill your lungs with fresh air that speaks of freshness of breath, and vitality of body and mind.

We have asked our dearest Carolyn to remember her life as a Soul. Of late, Dear Hearts, our dearest has been suffering one of the many viruses pervading, and has been preoccupied with sleep and rest. Today, however, we ask once again of our dearest: What do you remember of your Soul life, dearest?

It is a rather uncomfortable feeling. However, I remember the days of chaos and dread. I do not remain in that remembrance for long; better to fleetingly remember and then exit. But yes, I do remember the energy of dread.

Not a good feeling, dearest?

No, certainly not.

And why, dearest, do you suppose you are remembering those times?

Probably because they are my earliest memories…

Can you elucidate?

Not unlike many of the happenings within The Earth Fantasy of today, many were lost to the negative.

Indeed, dearest, many were lost. Can you explain a little more?

As a Soul, without a body, we were totally dependent upon our self. Before we came to realise that to survive there was need for us to engage in camaraderie, we were islands unto ourselves. We had little appreciation of remaining positive in our thoughts. It didn’t take long before many succumbed to the negativity and dread; isolating and totally separating themselves from the whole.

And what, dearest, was the outcome?

The outcome was, as it is on Earth for those who isolate and separate themselves from camaraderie – death. Though, naturally, as a Soul we cannot die; therefore those who spiraled down into greater negativity ultimately lost touch with reality and continue, to this day, to remain isolated and separated; or are experiencing death as is known to us as Souls or consciousness.

Devastating, dearest.

Yes it is. I can remember back a few years as Carolyn when I was extremely ill. I suffered negativity and dread for many months, wondering if indeed I would survive. The isolation and separation I experienced as a human was almost intolerable – I truly did not want to live; such was the devastation I experienced. Because of that experience I know, to some degree, the torment and absolute devastation that many Souls, in our earliest days, must have felt. To know that those Souls are still ‘in the wilderness’ so to speak, is almost beyond my comprehension. And yet, I know it is true.

I was fortunate. I rallied as never before. I was not going to give in to negativity. I fought with all my might, all my mental strength to ensure that I would not spiral downwards into mental oblivion.

You won the battle, dearest?

Yes, I did.

    1. Sheryl, like some songs that take me back to sweet memories, freshly cut grass has that effect for me too. There’s something new and inviting about it. Don’t know what it is – what that initial reason was. I do know, though, the effect is sweet and good. Wish I really did know why! Hmmm…

    1. Seems, according to my research, that the effects are caused by the excretion of certain chemicals. Wikipedia says:
“Mechanical damage to grass from activities such as lawnmowing results in the release of cis-3-hexenal and other compounds that contribute to a grassy or “green” smell. cis-3-Hexenal has a low odour detection threshold that humans can perceive at concentrations as low as 0.25 parts per billion.”
And most of us really enjoy these ‘smells’. I even find myself leaving the front door open when Keith is mowing so that I can truly enjoy the resulting chemistry! 💖
