Episode 53 – Service – A Selfless Act

Recently our dearest had to come to terms with ‘change’. This was not an easy scenario for our dearest. The ‘change’ we refer to is the change from one set of living conditions to another. In other words, Dear Ones:  What was known, to the unknown.

Did she ‘come through’? Indeed she did, and with flying colours, as the saying goes.

Our dearest’s life, for the past number of decades, has been a life of service to others. However, when service to others becomes a stagnant place, then change is needed.

Indeed, Dear Ones, this is what life for our dearest had become: A stagnant place to live. And why was this?

This was so, Dear Ones, because service, when expected and not earned nor respected, becomes harmful to all.

And this was the state our dearest’s life had been subject to. We shall explain:

Service is a grand occupation. When service is honoured and respected for the selfless act associated; all benefit. Indeed, our dearest’s life, until recently, was honoured and respected for the selfless acts it portrayed.

Then came a change; a change toward not honouring; indeed, not appreciating the selfless acts our dearest offered. This, and only this, was the catalyst that brought the need for change.

Did our dearest appreciate this? No, she did not. Her thoughts were only that ‘dance’ did not offer the enjoyment it once did.

We write this article to enlighten our dearest who has often wondered why. And now, with the telling within this document, she knows.

Naturally, this brings with it a little surprise. However, as with all change, our dearest will adjust and strive onward.

Many Blessings, Dear Ones. Many Blessings to All

  1. I think often and appreciate the service the CCC have offered on this site alone and its not short of incredible. In particular writings, published books, valuable content and timely reminders of the quest for Perfection. AND behind the scenes you have your own life challenges to unravel.
    ‘Selfless’ is a humble word.🙏🙏🙏

    1. Hahah, yes, Dorothy; don’t we know it…
Mind you, change can be such a refreshing condition; especially when the circumstances, as I am now appreciating, warrant it.
Ever onward, as the saying goes! 🤗

    1. Indeed it does, Rebecca; as I am now appreciating!
Though, isn’t it wonderful when the reverse is in full swing? The feelings that come when one is participating in ‘service to others’ cannot be underestimated for the beneficial feelings, the hormones of goodwill that are released – for all involved.
Having written that I am now realising I may be a goodwill pleasure seeking junkie.. hahah.. just kidding – I think. 😂
Though seriously, the pleasure I have received in the doing of ‘my work’ has been delightful.
With that in mind, here’s to more pleasure seeking for all… .🥂
