Yes, this is our reflection. When a Hummingbird you see, know you are being asked a question; a question that asks you to seek deeply within; deeply within where the answers are found.
Do you not believe you have the answers? Do you not believe you can access the answers?
Oh yes, dear friend, the answers are there waiting for you.
Ask; ask deeply within for the answers to be revealed, and revealed they will be.

You are so lucky to see hummingbirds. The closest we get to them in Oz is the honey eater – so sweet.. (Pun not intended, but, cute!) 🙂

I don’t always have patience, though. I really need to trust that the answers will come, and allow them come as they will, which is not always as I expect. Just this morning, as I’ve written in the post, I had need of some answers. Instead of getting the answers I was inspired to write this little reflection. I then published it thinking it didn’t hold very much value! Then, as I was reading it through I noticed the ‘Related’ posts beneath. I felt inspired to click upon the middle link ‘Q6b’ and there was, not only the answer to the question I raised, but also so much more that I needed to be reminded of.
It is times such as these I realise I still have much to be worked upon. As The C.C. have advised me many times… Perfection requires constant work upon ourselves relinquishing the many doubts, fears and foibles of our humanness.

Hmmmmmmm….. I feel a little hummingbird inside of me. I may not see all the answers, but I see the questions, and know to look deep. Hmmmmm… that’s why they have such long thin beaks, so they can probe deep to where they will find the nectar, the answer to their lives.
It’s neat what the reflections can bring out. xoxo
Hahaha… Your creative insights are wonderful, my sweet Resa. Who else would ‘see’ the little hummingbird delving for nectar? A great analogy!
And yes, the nectar can be ‘very deep’ indeed. And the passage may be skewed with obstacles and false paths. But, as I discovered after writing this little reflection; the nectar presented itself, not as I thought it would, but, in a far grander fashion.

You know, that sight analogy had crossed my mind. There’s no going backwards. There is gathering of tools and experiences from the past, but they are for future use. I’ve been working on Art Gowns Art. I’ve got 10 canvas prints of some of the Art Gowns now. I’ve selectively painted over them with iridescent acrylics. I have more ideas IE: making some of the pics of the Art Gowns B&W, have them printed on canvas, then painting in colours….creatively.
Also, when I get a few more sketches finished, I’ll see what they look like printed on canvas. I’ve worked hard in film, and now that I’m older, it’s time to do my art for me, as opposed to applying my talent to other peoples projects.
I have been looking at galleries/shows that take submissions, but of course I need a bit more art. Mostly, I need to get through the eye thing, so I can get back at the art.
The new Art Gown is coming along slowly, but it is coming along.
I’ll do a film if someone I like asks me & it’s a decent project that will avail me in some way, but not just for money. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo 😀

Excellent metaphor! … plus I didn’t know that hummingbirds were in Australia. 😉 .. After all, in the US there is only one species east of the Mississippi River – but western US have numerous species.
No, Frank, we don’t have hummingbirds here in Australia. Our honeyeater/sunbird is very similar in appearance and behaviour, however, it is of a different family of bird. Apart from the smallest members who can, for very short times, hover; they are not known for this ability.
All the same, the honeyeater extracts nectar with its long beak and tongue as it perches on the foliage. Very similar indeed… 🙂
